The Stargate SG-1 is the longest running sci-fi TV show having been on the air for over 10 seasons and has one of the most loyal fan bases. To embrace this fan community, MGM commissioned DAVE to create an online community that could fully complement the TV show. The Stargate SG-1 community was one of the first community sites to utilize the DAVE S.O.C.I.A.L. Platform and all aspects are completely powered by the platform. Features include user profiles, cast profiles, episode summaries, friends, groups, message boards, blogs, contests, video/photo/audio uploading, video/photo/audio encoding, video streaming, audio/photo playback, playlists, rating, comments, embed links and email a friend sharing. Since its inception, the Stargate SG-1 community has received millions of unique visitors from around the world and tens of thousands of members have created profiles and uploaded videos and photos.
