DAVE Networks says goodbye to the interns...for now

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2008

About eight weeks ago we got the chance to partner with the EF International school and work with their students from all over the world. We got sent ten wonderful and eager people who were ready to learn.

Over time we taught them about our company and gave them an American work experience. For those two months we gave them the opportunity to learn about marketing, web design, video editing, and print design. They also helped tremendously with doing QA and QC when it came to our new sites.

We plan on continuing this program in the future in the hopes that we can give other students the same great opportunity. Here is just an idea of what the interns thought:

Bianca Zakall (Austria):

“I started working for DAVE and I think it’s been a great experience. I got an insight into online marketing, which is definately my main focus."

Angel Esteban (Spain):

“My experience with DAVE was very cool. I edited videos using Sony Vegas software and that definately helped me improve my video skills. I feel that doing an internship in an American Company is very good for my resume”.

Irena Sacharow (Germany):

"We had meetings where Dave and Nastassia would guide us trough editing programs and how to create profiles on thier different websites. We learned more about the web as a whole and important terms that come with that."

We are currently looking for new interns. If you possess strong writing and communication skills, knowledge of html/css, or marketing skills, contact us. If you feel you have what it takes please e-mail your resume to: internship@davenw.com
