Entering its 11th season, CBS’s Amazing Race has been one of the most successful reality TV show franchises in history. The shows premise of tracking 12 teams as they race each other around the world until the first team that crosses the finish line claims the $1 million prize. Using locations from around the world as its backdrop, the show allows viewers to travel the world from their couch. As part of the 11th season, CBS used DAVE’s S.O.C.I.A.L. Platform to power Been There, Done That, which allowed users to track the contestants locations and be able to upload their own videos and photos of those locations and add their own experiences and comments about those locations creating a deeper bond between the viewers and the race on the TV show. Thousand of videos and photos have been submitted and the site is one of the key reasons the show continues to be a hit.
